Wednesday 20th July 2011- Blog 1
Today we started with the basics; we created our group wikispace, made our group name and read our assessment page. We planned where we were going to set the location. Our group all decided that the theme of the task would be a modernised version of "The Merchant of Venice". We chose to make a short trailer instead of explaining the aspects of the play to a year 10 class. Our progress was steady and everyone is working efficiently . I believe that everything would go smoothly and that if problems would arise, our chances of succeeding would be slim. Every part is divided and that each role is choosen depending on our skills . For instance Manatu would be in charge with all the technical appliances and programs, Melissa would probably write the scripts, Hazel is the organizer and lastly my role is to update the wikispace, create the ideas and themes of the play.

Today in yr 10 English my group called SNAP, started to create a wiki space. We decided to plan on where the filming is going to take place, we've decided that at George's house will be best. George will be updating the wiki and Patrick will be writing the scripts. We also have to draw up an inspiration on what is going to be happening. We have decided to do snap shots on what scenes we will be acting out in The Merchant of Venice. I hope that everything will be included that is based in The Merchant of Venice and that our views will be happy on what we have shown them.
