Today in yr 10 English my group called SNAP, started to create a wiki space. We decided to plan on where the filming is going to take place, we've decided that at George's house will be best. George will be updating the wiki and Patrick will be writing the scripts. We also have to draw up an inspiration on what is going to be happening. We have decided to do snap shots on what scenes we will be acting out in The Merchant of Venice. I hope that everything will be included that is based in The Merchant of Venice and that our views will be happy on what we have shown them.
Monday the 25th of July 2011- Blog 2
In our English class Miss Pitman showed us the 3 filming choices video essay, narrative, documentary. My group is going to show 3 examples of them. We went on YouTube and found the 3 filming choices .My group choose video essay because we are going to put snapshots of pictures and sound in the background and word describing the picture. George and I have chosen movie maker because we know all about it and it easier to use.
Today me and George started taking snapshots of longshoots,close-ups and medium shoots, George started inspiration and write what we need and what we are doing we chose our characters Patrick is shylock and George is bassanio and chose our scene on what were acting it will be interesting on what we are going to be present.

Today in class we finished off inspiration we watched a few scene on what we will be acting out and had a idea. After school Patrick went over georges house and started to take snapshots. George came up with a idea saying that we should use his jewellery box for portia photo and the pound flesh and the money
Friday the 29 of july 2011- blog 5
We started to put all our snapshot into movie maker and added background music and text and patterns. We affected out photos to make it appealing for the views to look. After that me and George started to look on what we done like our snaps shoots and inspiration and just looked at it one more time before we finalized everything .

We finally put our video together Patrick edited the pictures while George added text and background music. we hope we done our best to show the viewers on what we came up with and hoping we are going to get a good grade for the acting of the merchant of Venice
