Tuesday 26/7/11
On this day me and my partner Juliano started preparing for our movie trailer. We talked and mention things like ideas such as the elements, shot and film techniques we were going to use. We thought about using costumes and making the trailer look as real as possible, we also decided that we were going to film at locations such as parks, rooms and etc. We also talked about what camera we were going to use and what kind of music we are going to use for our trailer.
Wednesday 27/7/11
Today in class we watched the movie The Merchent Of Venice, it gave me an idea of what I can do for my trailer. It gave me ideas such as the costumes we can use, what kind of locations I can do my filming at and the scenes I could put in my trailer. The movie gave me an understanding of how the characters act and behave, so I could use this example in my video. It also gave me an idea of what kind of music I should include in my trailer and what types of props I should use aswell.
Monday 1/8/11
Over the past few lessions we have been watching the movie The Merchent Of Venice, today we finished it. It gave me some final ideas on what I am going to include in my trailer. Me and my group that one of the most important scene of the movie was 'The Court Room'. We decided that we were definitely going to use that scene in our trailer. This is because that scene includes most of the drama and excitment of the whole movie. We also watched the offical Merchent Of Venice trailer. This really helped me and my group because it showed us what our trailer should be like and some ideas that we could improve on.
Wednesday 3/8/11
Today my group and I started filming for our trailer. We only got to film 2 scenes but we came up with very nice ideas for our trailer. We thought that the trailer should be filmed outside of school so we can use better props and wear better clothes. We decided that we were going to include the most dramatic and most exciting parts of the movie into out trailer so that it catches the audiences attention. We also decided the locations we are going to meet up at and do our filming.
Friday 5/8/11
On Friday me and my group did some filming for our trailer at school. We did not get a lot of scenes done because we decided we were going to meet up on the same day and do more filming outside of school. We also decided what scenes we were going to use in our trailer and what kind of music we will also use. Juliano and I started filming at my house, we used the living room for the court scene and the backyard for some outside filming. We also went to a nearby park and did some filming there, it got dark so we were not able to do a lot of filming but we thought that we have done enough.
Tuesday 9/8/11
Today we did filming outside for the lesson. We did not have a lot to film, so we just tried to make a scene were we had everyone infront of the camera. We thought of some important scenes, so we could film some more. We also talked about how we are going to edit the videos and what kind of effects and music we were going to use. So we started going through some of the music I picked out from my computer and decided which ones we were going to use on what scene. I put the scenes we recorded on my computer and did some video editing, I added music and did some scenes in slow motion so it would look better.
Wednesday 10/8/11
Today was our last day on filming for our trailers. We missed out on a scene were we would end the trailer, after we filmed it I showed my group what I have done with the video editing so far. We made some changes, we put the scenes in diffrent orders etc. I then fixed up everything and finished off the trailer, I burned it to a CD and then I started on mind map. I put things like the props we used, the costumes we wore and where did out filming etc. After I finished with my mind map, I attached it to my blogs and double checked that everything was right, then I had finished everything
